We manufacture approximately 1,500 boiler systems per year for every industrial and commercial application.

Shell boilers

The production ranges from LOOS INTERNATIONAL are shell boilers from 175kg/h up to 55,000kg/h. Furthermore, we produce hot water boilers for capacities of up to 38MW, heating boilers up to 19.2MW. The different boiler series are manufactured in all pressure ranges and for all fuels and can be fitted if required with heat recovery systems to improve efficiency for all technical heating processes.

UNIMAT heating and hot water boilers

With the UNIMAT heating boiler series, we have applied the accumulated know-how of decades of three-pass boiler construction to a new concept. The LOOS design principle of the three-pass flame / smoke tube boiler has been outstandingly successful for the generation of low-pressure hot water and high-temperature hot water and emphasises that LOOS is in complete control of all media steam, warm water and hot water.

• UNIMAT heating boiler: type UT-L as flame-tube smoke-tube boiler with three-pass technology, accredited to the directive relating to appliances burning gaseous fuels up to an output of 750kW to 9,200kW for hot water generation
• UNIMAT hot water boiler: type UT-M as flame-tube smoke-tube boiler with three-pass technology, accredited to the pressure equipment directive up to an output of 750kW to 19,200kW for hot water generation
• Type UT-H as single flame-tube smoke-tube boiler with three-pass technology up to an output of 820kW to 18,300kW for hot water generation
• Type UT-HZ as double flame-tube smoke-tube boiler with three-pass technology up to an output of 13,000kW to 38,000kW for hot water generation

Flame and steam boilers

Shell boilers are flame and smoke tube boilers, whose tubes carry flue gases and are surrounded by the boiler water. Today's shell boilers are based on flame tube/smoke tube boilers either with rear flue gas reversing chamber or with flue gas reversal in the furnace. Shell boilers always have sufficient steam reserve, even during sudden consumption peaks. The boilers are used wherever constant, high quality hot water or steam is required.

• Type U-ND/U-HD as flame tube boiler with two-pass technology up to an output of 175kg/h to 3,200kg/h (low pressure) and 175kg/h to 1,250kg/h (high pressure) for steam generation
• Type U-MB type series as a flame and smoke tube boiler with three-pass technology and steam generation output of 200kg/h to 2,000kg/h
• Type UL-S as single flame tube / smoke tube boiler with three-pass technology up to an output of 1,250kg/h to 28,000kg/h for steam generation
• Type ZFR as double flame tube / smoke tube boiler with three-pass technology up to an output of 18,000kg/h to 55,000kg/h for steam generation

Boiler house components

Boiler house based on modular technology for easy planning, quick assembly and fully automated, safe operation of steam plants complete the range. Individual plant parts and components are correctly dimensioned, matched to each other and assembled into a ready-to-connect module.
