CHP TURBINE / ENGINE WASTE HEAT RECOVERY

We supply a broad range of specialised CHP schemes for turbine and engine waste heat recovery. Our CHP schemes are supplied to a number of industries, including power, food, paper, and oil and gas.

Our waste heat products are designed to optimise steam or hot water output at minimum operating cost when using hot gases from incinerators, reciprocating engines, turbines or other waste sources.

We also supply bespoke and highly flexible waste heat boilers for the safe handling of hot gases from incinerators. These gases often combine toxins and other particulate matter.

EURONOX ULTRA-LOW NOX BOILERS

EURONOX is Wellman Robey's flagship range of ultra-low NOx boilers. Our boilers are available with both single and twin furnaces, and feature our groundbreaking integral gas recirculation technology. This ensures that NOx emission levels are restricted to <50mg/nm3. Designed for low electrical running costs.

Epitomising the UK Government's BAT (Best Available Technology) principles, EURONOX ultra-low NOx boilers are also Carbon Trust – Energy Technology listed and fully CE PED compliant.

STEAM AND HOT WATER BOILERS

A product of the Robey Loos alliance, our range of high-quality standard steam and hot water boilers is manufactured using a state-of-the-art production process incorporating robotic welding techniques. Our steam and hot water boilers are built in compliance with European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED).

HEAT RECOVERY ECONOMISERS

Wellman Robey's flue gas heat recovery economiser - the ROBEYLOOS Eco System - has been specially designed to utilise the heat recovery potential of flue gas discharge from old and new steam boilers. Featuring high-efficiency secondary heat transfer surfaces, the ROBEYLOOS maximises the heat recovery potential of feedwater preheating and enhances all-round boiler efficiency.

The ROBEYLOOS can be completely integrated into the rear exhaust box on new boilers. The equipment features helically finned tubes that enable heat recovery on gas- / light oil-fired boilers, thereby removing the need for gas-side bypass. The integrated unit has large inspection doors and is fitted within the outline of the boiler, avoiding separate foundation and secondary support steelwork. The integrated economisers are fitted complete with thermal insulation and interconnecting pipework.

The ROBEYLOOS Eco System can also be provided for stand-alone applications and retrofitting operations to existing boiler plant.
