IDCON will be running several best practice seminars between October and November, in Raleigh, North Carolina, US. The sessions are the building blocks to excellence in plant reliability and maintenance.

October courses

IDCON’s ‘Work Management: Maintenance Planning and Scheduling’ course runs from 2-3 October. It will teach plant operators how to effectively plan and schedule their plant maintenance in a cost-effective way.

The company is also running the ‘Shutdown/Turnaround Optimization Program’ on 4-5 October. This will give operators the chance to learn how to manage the six key stages of a shutdown/turnaround to stay on time and budget.

November courses

Between 6-7 November, the ‘Root Cause Problem Elimination’ seminar will take place.

The short course will look at better ways to eliminate equipment failures and will teach clients how to tie cause and effect together to arrive at the problem’s core. This method can be used by the frontline and requires no software.

IDCON will also be running the ‘Materials and Spare Parts Management’ course, which aims to highlight better practices to support long-term objectives. The course will take place from 8-9 November.
