Power System Design to Supply Switchboards for ROE Creek Borfield

Power System Design was recently awarded the contract to supply switchboards for the ROE Creek Borfield in Alice Springs, Australia. The project will enhance the southern community’s water supply.
The switchboards will include Allen Bradley programmable logic controllers and Ramalec-supplied EPCOS 125kV power factor correction units.
The project involves the supply, manufacture and testing of the following:
- Switchboards to suit 275kW bore pumps
- Switchboard to suit 110kW bore pumps
The PLCs will be connected by means of fibre-optic Ethernet rings.
