Arran Mackie and Mathew Pirie have both been shortlisted for prestigious Aberdeen Business Awards. Arran Mackie in the Emerging Industry Leader category at the 2016 P&J Gold Awards and Mathew Pirie in the Rising Star Category at the 2016 Northern Star Business Awards.

Arran Mackie is currently employed as a Technical Sales Engineer and Angola Country Manager within Sureclean, an industrial cleaning and waste management specialist to the oil and gas and wider energy sector.

Arran has progressed from a graduate to now being responsible for managing Sureclean’s Angolan entity, liaising with Clients and providing multi-discipline technical and engineering support for projects across the full range of services provided by Sureclean.
Mathew Pirie is currently employed as a Project Engineer and is responsible for providing multi-discipline technical and engineering support for projects across the full range of services provided by Sureclean.

Mathew’s most recent project was overseeing Sureclean’s industrial cleaning and waste management activities as part of an integrated team working on Decommissioning of the CNRI Murchison Platform, UK North Sea.

The decommissioning of the Murchison platform has been a high profile project as it is one of the first of its kind being one of the largest steel jacket platforms in the North Sea. Over the course of this project, Mathew coordinated over 38,000 Sureclean man hours with zero LTI’s and zero equipment failures, on time and under budget with commendations received from the Client.
