DEUTZ Power Systems - Engines for Power GenerationDEUTZ Power Systems GmbH & Co. KG in Mannheim is a world leading systems supplier of complete, high efficient, environmentally-friendly decentralised energy plants based on gas and diesel engines in an output range from 180kW to 4,000kW. An independent subsidiary of DEUTZ AG, the company is identified with the reliable, uninterrupted supply of electricity, heating and cooling at all times and at any location. The core competencies of DEUTZ Power Systems lie in the development of complete plants for the conversion of fossil and renewable fuels into electrical and thermal energy. A further company focus is the development of innovative services and technologies in all aspects of decentralised energy supply based on combustion engines. Not least, comprehensive and rapid response to customer needs in terms of new installations or service for existing installations is an important part of our corporate philosophy. Our innovative flair and flexibility in dealing with customer requirements has made DEUTZ Power Systems a leader in the German market for engine-powered cogeneration (CHP) plants. With more than a century of experience in the development of combustion engines, we are capable of offering every customer a high technology solution precisely tailored to his requirements – for example, for cogeneration, tri-generation and HC power plants featuring combinations of gas and diesel generator sets. GAS ENGINES FOR GAS GENERATOR SETSThe medium and large spark-ignited gas engines of DEUTZ Power Systems represent leading-edge technology and their open combustion chambers are suited to converting both natural and non-natural gases (sewage gas, landfill gas, biogas, mine gas and coke oven gas) into electricity and thermal energy in the form of both heating and cooling for cogeneration, tri-generation and HC power plants. Their efficiency level is higher than that of conventional power generation plants, and for the customer this means lower fuel consumption and lower pollution emissions.
