Hach Ultra - Operating Parameter Monitoring and ControlWhether fossil fuel, nuclear or combined cycle, Hach Ultra products are trusted to provide monitoring and control of critical operating parameters. Our product line is specifically manufactured for the industrial environment and meets the needs of the industry in terms of accuracy, ease of installation and use and optimum total cost of ownership. Experienced primary measuring points include:
Hach Ultra is a wholly owned subsidiary of Danaher Corporation, a Fortune 500 leader. With nearly half a century of expertise in analytical instrumentation, Hach Ultra delivers the best solutions in quality monitoring and process analytics worldwide. The Hach Ultra product portfolio consists of the following brands: ANATEL, HIAC, HYT, MET ONE, ORBISPHERE and POLYMETRON. The company is coupled with global service expertise for beverage, electronics, life sciences, power generation and industrial applications. Service offices and authorised distributors operate in more than 80 countries. ORBISPHERE G1200 LUMINESCENT O2 SENSORThe luminescent O2 sensor is for nuclear application. This sensor offers a new method of monitoring oxygen in high purity water applications. Designed to reduce maintenance requirements and complexity to a minimum, this oxygen sensor is operator independent with a fully automatic calibration method, so reducing personnel radiation exposure. ORBISPHERE G1100 O2 MONITORThis product provides trace O2 monitoring in pure water processes. This complete system using the ORBISPHERE 410 is designed for use in power generation plants or other industrial applications requiring effective oxygen monitoring. It features a fully automatic on-line calibration, programmable to meet operating requirements and has a low cost of ownership with downtime reduced to a five-minute annual service. POLYMETRON SODIUM ANALYSERS AND MONITORSThe Polymetron 9245 sodium analyser – mono-channel provides reliable sodium monitoring in high purity water. With a detection limit of 0.01ppb and a range of 0ppb to 10,000ppb this analyser is ideally suited for monitoring sodium in de-mineralized water, boiler feed, condensate and all parts of the steam / water cycle. The Polymetron 9210 Silkostat also offers the monitoring of sodium for high purity water. This analyser offers continuous monitoring for trace amounts of silica in high purity water, boiler feed water, demineralization plant and semiconductor process ultrapure water. It also offers repeatability of ±0.5 ppb or ±2%. Stable reagents need renewing only every 45 days. It features a wide set of outputs: two programmable 'smart' analogue; three contacts for concentration and system alarms; and one bi-directional RS232. POLYMETRON 9123 PH CALCULATORIn power plants, the measurement of pH is crucial for corrosion control in water and steam circuits. The 9123 offers a pH calculation by differential conductivity for low conductivity waters. The Polymetron 9120 dual channel transmitter is part of a range of online water chemistry analysers designed for the power industry. Hach Ultra products and services are designed to comply – and in many cases exceed – the high quality standards set by the power generation market. We provide on-line analytics in nuclear, including PWR and VVER; fossil, including coal and gas; and CCGT applications. We comply with industry standards and local regulations including EPRI, VGB and ASTMS and ensure that our products and partners are constantly in compliance with industry changes.
