ORBISPHERE G1200 – New Luminescent Sensor for Nuclear Power Plant Applications

Hach Ultra is proud to announce the launch of the new ORBISPHERE G1200 luminescent sensor. This sensor was originally designed for fossil power generation plants – it has been improved to optimize efficiency and durability in the presence of radiation making it the new ideal solution to monitor dissolved oxygen in high purity water applications for nuclear power plant water processes.
The ORBISPHERE G1200 features:
- User exposure to radiation limited to five minutes annual service
- Traceable fully automatic in-situ calibration
- Optimized for use on radioactive samples, no interference from hydrogen
The ORBISPHERE G1200 reduces maintenance requirements and complexity to a minimum for users. It has a fully automatic calibration method so reducing personnel radiation exposure and has a dry sensor that ensures no electrolytes, chemicals and no membrane.
