Strategic Power Systems, Inc.® (SPS) is an engineering company with strong in-house IT resources that focus on the Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM) of simple cycle and combined cycle gas turbine and steam turbine systems.

FLEET ASSET MANAGEMENT

SPS offers products and services that provide operations and maintenance tools for fleet asset management and installed base tracking. SPS' applications provide site and corporate users with data collection, data management, data analysis, data visualization, data distribution and data reporting.

Our core applications include critical parts life tracking, performance diagnostics and condition monitoring, cycle tracking, benchmarking, engineering services and web-based reporting tools.

ORAP® - O&M METRICS

ORAP is a benchmarking and analytical service that provides an in depth analysis of plant and unit Operating and Maintenance (O&M) metrics. In addition, it provides a direct comparison of a user's unit O&M metrics to those of like units in the ORAP fleet. SPS' metrics report on availability, reliability and forced outage factor.

The O&M metrics are very detailed and include scheduled and unscheduled maintenance factors; Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) and Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) calculations; and forced outage events and hours, along with maintenance hours.

Participating sites enter event, operational and production data into ORAP using data entry tools. Custom reports are then provided to all participants via the Internet, allowing users to benchmark their operational and maintenance performance against like units in the fleet. All submitted data is confidential and fleet comparison data is anonymous.

ORAP INTERACTIVE™ - O&M REPORTING TOOL

ORAP Interactive is a secure, powerful web-based reporting tool providing the user with data analysis, data viewing and data reporting. ORAP Interactive incorporates a flexible and robust user interface for selecting report criteria. Users have the ability to view and report information based on a number of hierarchical groupings, including business unit, asset group, site, unit, total fleet, global region or equipment type. Users can analyze statistical information reported to ORAP such as availability and reliability or user specific information such as Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) or company goals compared to actual performance.

ORAP LINK™ - O&M PLANNING, FORECASTING AND REPORTING

ORAP LINK is a real-time RAM monitoring system for simple cycle and Combined Cycle Gas Turbines (CCGT). ORAP LINK provides equipment-specific advanced calculations, such as equivalent hours, equivalent starts, factored hours and factored starts.

ORAP LINK provides web-based data viewing, data analysis and data reporting. Information provided by ORAP LINK includes maintenance planning, outage forecasting, and operations reporting. ORAP LINK provides 20-year maintenance projections for combustion inspections, hot gas path inspections and rotor maintenance.

ORAP PARTS TRACKING™

ORAP Parts Tracking is a web-based application that tracks the consumed life of all serialized parts in a simple cycle or combined cycle gas turbine. Advanced algorithms in parts tracking take into consideration the life limiting effect of equivalent hours and starts, factored hours and starts, and full, partial and trip cycles. ORAP Parts Tracking provides users with data viewing, data reporting and data sharing. Information tracked includes engine as-built parts configuration, and historical and current parts location including site, unit and position. SPS even provides a parts repair history, disposition and work scope.

ORAP CYCLES TRACKING™

ORAP Cycles Tracking is a real-time product for tracking full, partial and trip cycles for simple cycle or combined cycle gas turbines. Currently ORAP Cycles Tracking includes all of the calculations for the GE LM series of aeroderivative engines. These calculations include full cycles, partial cycles, trip (stop-cock) cycles and accumulated cycles.

ORAP Cycles Tracking is used in conjunction with ORAP Parts Tracking to provide the user with data viewing, data reporting and data sharing of all critical and serialized parts life information.
