Vikon has over 20 years of experience in rotor balancing and analysis of vibration in rotating machinery. Today we offer a wide range of products, from transducers and cables to advanced hardware and software for Rotor Balancing and Condition Monitoring. Our MIVA® equipment combined with the ROBAL® software provides a highly efficient and accurate system for balancing of rotating machinery. The same MIVA® instrumentation combined with our PEMAC® software makes up a system with very unique capabilities for fault detection and fault diagnostics. This system can be used both for online monitoring and periodic checking and is suitable for field operations as well as shop delivery testing. VIKON's balancing and monitoring systems are installed in many industrialised countries around the world. By using our knowledge and tools you will gain the following advantages:
MIVA® ONLINEMIVA® On-line is a system for on-line Machine Condition Monitoring. It can monitor a single machine or a large number of machines and warn against faulty machine condition and impending failure. Reports with details about the cause of an alarm are provided. The following functions are available depending on the software configuration:
Typical applications are:
MIVA® HARDWAREMIVA® 4210 is a complete industrial PC. It is used as the central processing unit in the MIVA® vibration analysis systems. It is also offered as a stand-alone unit with a built in 16-channel data acquisition board. MIVA® 4010 is the data acquisition unit and operates as a node in the MIVA® Network. It captures vibration signals and signal envelope data from up to 16 vibration input channels on command from the Central unit. Each signal can be synchronised with two rotating shafts. APPLICATION SOFTWARE - CONDITION MONITORINGPMCPC is the software that measures vibration on demands or on set time intervals and performs real time fault detection and fault diagnosis by comparing the actual vibrations of a machine with the vibrations of a "reference machine". The result is presented in colour codes directly on the PC display. Alarm status and condition information can also be transmitted by using the TCP/IP protocol. PEMAC® Report is a piece of software that can run on clients in the local area network to present information and reports generated by PMCPC. APPLICATION SOFTWARE - UNBALANCE MONITORINGA separate module can be added to PMCPC to enable online measurements of rotor unbalance. This module is particularly useful for Draft induced fans where coal deposits on the fan blades may suddenly come loose and generate heavy unbalance. Correction of unbalance can be reduced to just a few minutes. ACCESSORIESVIKON offers a large number of transducers for vibration and shaft speed measurements. VIKON also offers complete kits for condition monitoring and rotor balancing. The sensor kit includes connection boxes, cables and sensors, which can be installed directly on the machinery. VIBRATION ALARM UNITVVM-01 monitors vibration in a machine and gives alarm as soon as the vibration level deviates from the set limits, eg. in case of unbalance or other faults in the machine. VVM-01 has output for alarm, warning and function errors. It has also current output 4-20 mA. For more information, please contact:
