Dekoron - Insulated Tubing Bundles

Dekoron/Unitherm has provided quality pre-insulated and traced tubing bundles to the electric power industry for over 30 years. Products include pre-insulated tubing bundles for steam supply and condensate return, steam traced bundles used for impulse lines, flow measurement and instrument lines, electric traced bundles for instrument and stack gas analyzer lines, and special bundles for high pressure steam monitoring and analysis applications.

Dekoron/Unitherm products can be found in coal-fired, natural gas, and biofuel plants, refuse burners, and even nuclear power stations; wherever there is a need for small, lightweight tubing bundles with precise, consistent thermal characteristics.

UNITHERM 2200: PREINSULATED TUBING

Dekoron/Unitherm 2200 pre-insulated tubing is an engineered, prefabricated, thermally insulated steam supply and condensate return line. Products are available with copper, stainless steel and a wide variety of corrosion-resistant alloy tubes. Standard bundles are designed to operate continuously at 204ºC, but designs for operation up to 530ºC are available.

Tube sizes range from ¼in OD to ¾in OD. Standard, heavy and extra-heavy tubing is available. The compact design can be bent and formed by hand which allows for ease of handling and supporting. Pre-insulated tubing bundles come in long lengths, making storage, handling and installation simple.

STEAM AND ELECTRIC TRACED TUBING

Dekoron/Unitherm steam and electric traced tubing bundles provide light, flexible alternatives to hard piping of instruments and analyzers in power plants. Bundles can be designed for freeze protection, viscosity maintenance, or temperature maintenance applications.

Steam traced bundles have been used with both steam and glycol heating medium. Electric traced bundles can be provided with self-regulating heating elements, constant wattage heat tapes, or mineral insulated heating elements, depending upon the application. Electric traced bundles can carry FM approvals and can be ATEX certified for use in hazardous locations.

ANALYZER BUNDLES

Dekoron/Unitherm is the largest supplier of electric traced tubing bundles for Continuous Emissions Conitoring (CEM) applications in the world. Our bundles are used in applications ranging from monitoring acid rain emissions to methane offgassing of landfills.

Our wide range of tubing materials, heaters, insulation packages, and jacket materials insures the customer's bundle can meet this exacting monitoring requirement. Designs for both fixed and portable monitoring applications are available.

UNITHERM INTEGRITY SERIES

Dekoron/Unitherm has developed a new product line to meet the increased accuracy and durability required by the mercury monitoring standards. The Integrity line uses space-age materials and innovative manufacturing methods to ensure that the bundles provide the cleanest and most accurate samples possible to the analyzer. These bundles are electrically and hydraulically complete, including all electrical connectors.
