Lancom III is the new addition to the highly successful range of portable flue gas analysers from Land Instruments International.

The new Lancom III is now firmly established at the forefront of portable flue gas analyzer technology. It has the capability to monitor up to 9 gases, and a total of 17 measurement parameters simultaneously. The instrument offers the best accuracy available from a portable gas analyser, achieved by using an advanced sample conditioning system. It has the features and options you would expect from a leading analyser, plus many which single it out as being the most robust, versatile and complete currently available.

A further enhancement introduced with the Lancom III is the new Insight data acquisition and analysis software, which is specifically designed for use with the new analyser. It allows data capture, storage, analysis and presentation of measurement information in a simple Windows™ based program, which runs on any PC or laptop computer – the ideal reporting tool.

Robust

The Lancom III weighs only 6 kg, and can easily be carried around any plant; the compact design ensures that access to remote locations via ladders or gantry work is no problem. It is highly robust and ideal for daily use in harsh industrial environments.

Complete

The Lancom III is capable of measurement of CO low, CO high, O2, NO, NO2, NOx, SO2, H2S, CO2 and Hydrocarbons. In addition the analyser can calculate combustion efficiency, loss, excess air, CO2, total NOx and can provide measurement corrections such as oxygen normalisation, wet or dry analysis and automatic reading conversions. Features such as data logging, serial communications and an integral printer come as standard. The Lancom III meets US EPA CTM 034 reference method, for report generation to recognized standards; in addition it carries full ETV approval.

Versatile

The analyser has the flexibility to meet all measurement requirements in a single instrument. The user simply selects the gas types and options (from an extensive list) that are required for their specific application. Uniquely, the Lancom III can be upgraded in the field by remote communications, where future changes in application requirements arise. There is no need to return the instrument to the factory.

The extensive list of options include draft measurement; flow measurement (for flue gas velocity, flow rate and mass emissions rate); smoke measurement; a range of sample probes (including the revolutionary DrySampler™ Probe), Insight data acquisition and analysis software system; analogue outputs; wake and sleep facility (semi-continuous monitoring – for unattended periodic operation); plus a choice of display languages.
