For over 30 years, Bea has been manufacturing and commercialising a wide range of highly innovative technical products for the filtration of liquids and compressed gases. The research and development of new filtration technologies and systems to meet the needs of oil and gas customers, has always been a priority for Bea.

The Bea organisation, numbering 105 personnel, has been structured to assure a consistently fast and technically qualified sales and support service to its customers. The highly experienced team of technical experts is available to help its customers select the best performing and most cost-effective filter for their particular application.

Industrial process equipment for refineries and power-generation plants

Bea Technologies manufactures a range of industrial process equipment for oil and gas refineries and power-generation plants. This includes:

• Automatic backwashing water filters – FILTROMATIC (for river and sea water)
• Automatic backwashing feed filters – DUOMATIC (for hydrocarbons and gasoil)
• Pleated cartridge filters (for water, technical gas and liquid hydrocarbons)
• Basket filters, simplex and duplex
• Process filter systems manufactured as per customers' specifications
• Filters for oxygen gas with OXOPOR cartridges
• Two-stage separators for hydrocarbons and natural gas
• Coalescer filters and separators for liquid-to-liquid and liquid-to-gas

Compressed air and gas filters

Bea Technologies manufactures a range of compressed air and gas filters. This includes:

• High-efficiency oil and water-mist removal filter elements for compressed air
• Solid particle removal filter elements from compressed air / gas
• Refrigeration dryers
• Adsorption dryers
• Technical gas filters (for nitrogen, hydrogen and oxygen)
• Filter for refrigeration plants
• Filter to retain solid particles
• Blow-back filters to separate and recover catalyser fines

Filter elements, pressure vessels and welded equipment

All company functions (engineering, manufacturing, R&D, laboratory, sales, and customer service and administration) are located in three buildings in Pero-Milano, only 15km from Milan's city centre, with facilities covering 12,000m².

BEA has two modern facilities for the production of all filter elements for many different applications. Pressure vessels and other welded equipment can be manufactured in accordance with PED, UNI EN, ASME VIII DIV 1 'U' Stamped, Chinese SQL Stamp, UDT Poland and AD MERKBLATTER German codes.

BEA was one of the first Italian filter companies to achieve ISO: 9001 quality certification.

Technical and R&D departments

BEA's technical department is composed of 15 people, including design engineers using AutoCAD to produce drawings to satisfy customer orders and specifications.

The research and development department is totally focused on new technologies and applications.

Metal elements and system-assembly workshop

BEA also has a workshop for manufacturing metal elements and assembling systems.

Its warehouse has a sufficient inventory of raw materials and finished products to guarantee prompt delivery times.
