Camfil Acquisition of Kaefer-Raco Engineering GmbH

We are pleased to announce Camfil AB's plans to acquire Kaefer-Raco Engineering GmbH as described in the attached Press release. Camfil Industrifilter AB and Kaefer-Raco Engineering have been cooperating since 2002 in various fields and the acquisition is a logical step to further intensify and optimize the co-operation.
Kaefer-Raco Engineering is a German market leader in the supply of custom engineered intake and exhaust systems as well as damper & diverter systems in the power industry. The company has a long track record of supplying systems for larger gas turbines.
The existing Camfil Farr gas turbine divisions in Sweden and Canada will merge with
Kaefer-Raco Engineering into one business unit with a joint management. The company's new name will be:
Camfil Farr Power Systems
Camfil Farr Power Systems (CFPS) will operate from three branches:
* Borås, Sweden sub-branches in Brussels and Dubai
* Bremen, Germany sub-branch in Kreuzau
* Laval, Canada sub-branch in Houston, Tx
We will inform about name change as soon as it's formalised.
The combination of:
* Camfil Farr's global presence and market leading technology in air filtration
* The both companies capabilities and expertise in acoustic system and package design
* Kaefer-Raco Engineering's leading technology in hot gas damper/diverter design
will allow Camfil Farr Power Systems to become a global partner and support it's customers with complete packages for all gas turbine sizes using leading technology and cost efficient designs.
Camfil Industrifilter AB's on-going customer contracts will not be affected.
We are convinced the creation of Camfil Farr Power Systems will improve our possibilities to provide our customers with best solutions and service at all times.
