Luftfilterbau manufactures air filtration systems for a variety of industries. Their filtration solutions range from HVAC, ventilation, cleanrooms and turbines up to nuclear fields of application. The company's extensive range of air filtration systems includes:
HS-MIKROPAK FILTERS FOR TURBINE, VENTILATION AND AIR CONDITIONINGHS-Mikro Pak filters are mostly used in turbine and air conditioning applications for fine dust filtration. Mikro Pak filters are used in heavy industries such as power generation, transmission and distribution. These filters are used as primary and / or main filters for fine dust separation. Mikro Pak filters are especially suited for handling large airflow volumes and achieve long service life times due to their large dust storage capacity. HS-Mikro Pak filters fit most standard supporting frames from various manufacturers. The filter media consists of high-quality glass fibre paper with varying efficiencies. Thermoplastic spacers between tightly packed individual filter folds ensure even spacing. The supporting frame is made from plastic, while the complete filter can be reduced to ash once burned, making disposal easy. It's robust design is specially designed to cater for the needs of turbine applications and offers superior rigidity and corrosion resistance against other products on the market with a burst pressure >4,500Pa. The filter media is water resistant and also suitable for use in conditions with high humidity. With reduced humidity the pressure drop returns to normal levels. The Mikro Pak system is divided into three different specifications:
HS-Securesorb ACTIVATED CARBON ADSORBERLuftfilterbau's HS-Securesorb activated carbon adsorbers are designed to filter gaseous and / or toxic air impurities from large volumes of air, such as exhaust from nuclear power plant reactors. With a filtration rate of between 5,000m3/h and 15,000m3/h, the entire filterhousing is made from high grade stainless steel. HS-Securesorb features filter stages that can be changed contamination free. As an optional extra, an air heater can be installed at the air intake side to ensure optimum efficiency. The charging depth of the HS-Securesorb depends on the requirements (e.g. necessary time of contact, volume of air stream, or differential pressure). The adsorption range includes the filtration of odours as well as hazardous substances (for example solvent, or phosphate), gaseous radionuclides and warfare agents. The carbon packed bed (PB) is filled via a spacious aerial platform that also serves as reservoir for follow-ups. In order to eliminate bypasses, the activated carbon should be compressed through a vibrator after being placed inside the PB. Used up carbon can be discharged on a save way via save-change bags. The final stage in this system is a security filtration element, containing a HEPA Filter of filter class EN 1822: H11 or better. This stage makes sure that none of the carbon particles will pollute the air, which may escape while filling the PB. For more information, please contact:
