Membrana-Charlotte, a leading membrane and degassing device manufacturer, has expanded its Liqui-Cel business unit’s website with the launch of a dedicated French portal and a dedicated Russian portal. The portals can be found at www.liqui-cel.fr and www.liqui-cel.ru respectively. The new website portals are designed and organized to allow our French and Russian-speaking customers to easily obtain information in their native languages.

The new portals contain all of the updated content and functionality as the English website, which was launched in August this year. Some of the new features include an updated interface, new brand landing pages and animated Flash segments, which demonstrate the flow paths inside of the various membrane contactor designs. The French and Russian portals provide technical and educational materials that our French and Russian customers may find helpful for understanding and integrating Liqui-Cel membrane contactors in their particular application or industry.

Liqui-Cel, MicroModule®, MiniModule®, and SuperPhobic® membrane contactors are used around the world for adding or removing oxygen (O2), carbon dioxide (CO2) and nitrogen (N2) to or from different fluids including liquids in digital printing, analytical / biotechnology, semiconductor, power, pharmaceutical, photographic, food and beverage, and many other industries.

For example, O2 negatively impacts many processes; it is corrosive and can oxidize materials. In the power and industrial areas, piping and equipment are susceptible to corrosion. Specifically to the semiconductor and ink market, high levels of dissolved gases can cause lower yields and slow down process speeds. Liqui-Cel contactors are also used to add gasses to liquids to enhance megasonic cleaning. The beverage industry looks to membrane contactors for carbonation, nitrogenation and deoxygenation. These reflect only a few examples of the variety of applications where Membrana contactors are used.
