The company is committed to upgrading its technological capabilities by the acquisition of the latest tools and technology. When the time came to develop an impressive state-of-the-art bottling plant at Gujranwala, Lahore, careful consideration was given to the selection of the ideal power solution required to support the efficient running of the site.
The company specified two Cummins Power Generation C1100 D5 (DFHD) heavy-duty diesel generator sets for provision of primary power to the new plant. The decision to opt for the Cummins Power Generation product was driven by a variety of key factors. Although the Naubahar Bottling Company had prior experience of dealing with a number of competitor generator set suppliers, including local rival Caterpillar, it was keen to review alternative options for its exciting new development at Gujranwala.
The business was awarded to Cummins Power Generation on the basis of the reliability/quality of its products, the local distributor, Cummins Sales and Services, Pakistan's economical after sales service and the ease of availability of parts required to service the two generator sets. In fact, the generator sets impressed the Naubahar Bottling Company so much that it is now actively considering Cummins Power Generation products for all future new initiatives and expansion projects.
