The Caterpillar range of generator sets provides reliable energy solutions no matter what business you are in or whatever your needs. Innovative and robust designs have led to the Cat product line being recognised for reliability and dependability worldwide. Caterpillar has changed the electric power industry with new technology that addresses the increasingly strict emissions standards around the World, with no sacrifice in performance. Gensets range from 10kW to more than 16MW, with complete power projects as large as 100MW.

Because lacking of power has a dramatic effect on your process, we supply complete hassle-free solutions on time, with reliable equipment to ensure the continuity of your operations.

Innovative and robust designs have led to the Caterpillar product line being recognised for reliability and dependability worldwide. Manufactured for optimal performance at an ISO 9001 Caterpillar facility, offering dependable, clean economical power even in the most demanding conditions. They can meet the needs of any application with a wide range of configurations and optional equipment.

Finning provide the full range of Caterpillar Gensets, standardised in the 1500 rev/min range from 10kW to over 4MW for standby and prime power applications.

The range less than 150 kVA are particularly suitable for establishments such as domestic properties, small businesses, retail units, police and fire stations, farms and petrol stations.

Caterpillar’s continuous power range, with outputs of 20kVA to 455kVA are housed in robust, sound attenuated, waterproof canopies that are fully bunded with up to 24-hour internal fuel tanks. The control panel houses the necessary protections and circuitry so that all adjustments to voltage and speed can be made outside the set, thus preventing the need to open the canopy side doors during operation. Power generation modules with power output of 600kVA to 2,000kVA are housed in ISO Style containers of 20ft, 30ft and 40ft lengths. They are totally self-contained, fully sound attenuated and bunded in case of accidental spillage.

Our product line also includes the Caterpillar Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS). The UPS is ideal for critical applications in manufacturing, telecommunications, utility, and hospitals etc where power cannot be lost for even a second, preventing loss of data, productivity and business. This power security solution remains glitch free whilst your standby generator comes online. Kinetic power cell technology insures against a range of power events, as well as proving a more reliable and economic alternative to conventional battery systems.

Dedicated Finning staff operate a remote monitoring service, which is physically manned 24/7. Monitoring over 200 MW of prime power currently being generated by the UK by Finning supplied units and installations. With more than 150 field service engineers and over 700 workshop engineers throughout the UK, Finning provide first hand specialist advice nationwide.
