Headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, Hyosung Ebara Co Ltd (HECO) is the leading player in manufacturing pump sets for the power sector in the country. Established as Hanyung Pump Co Ltd in May 1962, subsequently the company merged with Hyosung in October 1975. HECO is the joint venture company between Ebara Corp of Japan and Flowserve Corp of USA (formerly BWIP). A wide range of products is being offered for API process pumps, petrochemical, nuclear, fossil, and combined cycle power plants. The core manufacturing and testing facilities, located in Changwon, South Korea, are ISO 9001-certified.

HSB / HDB PUMPS

HECO’s HSB / HDB pump sets are designed for power plant boilers and feed pump service as well as heavy-duty high-pressure refinery and petrochemical process pump applications. The multistage axial split between bearing and double volute case design complies with API 610 standard. HDB has a double suction impeller at the first stage for lower NPSH. This model is licensed with Ebara Corporation, Japan.

CENTRIFUGAL PUMP

HECO manufactures centrifugal pumps conforming to global quality standards. The centrifugal pump is available in three basic categories. The three centrifugal pump categories are radial flow, mixed flow and axial flow. The centrifugal pump products are widely used in various sectors.

A radial flow centrifugal pump is a centrifugal pump, in which the pressure can be built up by centrifugal force. The mixed flow centrifugal pump is a centrifugal pump, in which the pressure is developed partly by centrifugal force and partly by the lift of the vanes of the impeller on the liquid. Axial flow is a centrifugal pump, in which the pressure can be built up by the propelling or lifting action of the vanes of the impeller on the liquid.

VMF / VAF AND VY / VZ PUMPS

HECO's VMF / VAF, VY / VZ pump sets are engineered products designed for power plant cooling water circulation application and other municipal flood control systems. The vertical mixed and axial flow design is usually single stage impeller and can be provided with multistage impellers for higher head conditions. The VY and VZ models are licensed with Ebara Corporation, Japan.

VLT / VMT PUMPS / CONDENSATE PUMP

HECO’s VLT / VMT pump sets have been supplied especially for condensate pump for various power plants up to 500MW. The vertical multistage canned API standard pump is licensed with Flowserve Corporation of USA. The condensate pumps are economical and easy-to-install. The maintenance of the condensate pump is also very economical.

The condensate pump serves as a great attachment for any dehumidifier (removes moisture from the air) without a water pump. The condensate pump is ideal for vertical lift to the height of 15ft-20ft.
