Wagenborg Nedlift is a multi disciplinary division of Wagenborg Group, specialised in horizontal and vertical transport and related assembly and engineering activities. We offer a full package of services for heavy lifting, heavy transport and assembly, together with skilled and experienced engineering and project management.

With more than 350 dedicated employees, and an equipment fleet consisting of 110 mobile cranes, 75 heavy transport combinations, lifting systems, and jacking and sliding equipment, our experienced project managers and innovative engineers offer the best services in heavy transport and lifting.

In the power generation market, Wagenborg Nedlift's knowledge and experience helps us to execute complex logistic projects for the transport of turbines, generators, transformers and boiler parts.

MULTIMODAL TRANSPORTATION LOGISTICS

Wagenborg Nedlift’s service does not stop at road transport. We are also the operator of choice for multi-mode transport jobs, using a combination of road transport, inland waterways and sea shipping. As part of the Royal Wagenborg Group, we utilise the expertise of our fellow operating companies, which specialise in sea shipping, storage, trans-shipment, tugboat services and project logistics.

We have a long track record in these complex logistic solutions, offered by our own specialists in all possible logistical fields and carried out with our own equipment. The equipment fleet consists of:

• Over 170 seagoing vessels
• Tugboats, riverbarges and seagoing pontoons
• A large fleet of mobile and crawler cranes
• Over 100 heavy transport vehicles, modular trailers and SPMTs
• Covered and uncovered storage facilities
• Own harbour quay, port cranes, floating sheerleg, roro-quay

Recent projects in multimodal logistics include for ABB Heat Transfer, in the Neste Oy project, Finland. We transported 21 heatmodules from Gdynia up to the foundation at Neste Oy refinery, Porvoo, Finland. This included roll-on operation, barge transports, ship transports, roll-off operation, transport to site, and installation on site with SPMT and crawler crane.

HEAVY LIFTING SERVICES

Construction projects in the power industry and petrochemical industry are more and more frequently being set up in a modular way. This means that prefab constructions are produced at suppliers' locations and transported in large pieces to the project site (see also our multimodal transport services).

To be able to handle these pieces at the project site and place them onto foundation, Wagenborg Nedlift has a variety of heavy lifting equipment, such as:

• Heavy crawler cranes up to 750t capacity
• Hydraulic lifting gantry up to 720t capacity
• Various skidding and jacking systems

As a full service provider in logistic solutions, our service goes much further than providing the equipment. All related engineering, project planning and project management is in fine hands with our experts.

FLATBED TRANSPORT

The main work of our flatbed transport department consists of regular project loads such as machinery, skids and boilers. The department also handles frequent trips with building materials, consumables or components for overhaul and maintenance work. With the help of truck-mounted cranes we can unload these at the construction site. These regular loads, transported within the Netherlands or to all manner of destinations in Europe, form the basis of our European network.

SPECIALISED TRANSPORT

When the equipment you need to move has unusually large dimensions, our specialised transport department is waiting to take up the challenge. With special transport projects, thorough preparation is essential. Wagenborg Nedlift’s employees are completely familiar with every aspect of this.
