ETB Energietechnik Bremen - Diesel-Particle Filters, Exhaust-Gas Silencers and Heat Exchangers

Founded in 1981, ETB Energietechnik Bremen provides the development, production and distribution of diesel-particle filters and exhaust-gas silencers with specific energy-technical and environmental-technical arrangements. ETB’s range of products includes:

  • Patented particle filter systems for construction machines, forklifts, utility vehicles, as well as for stationary arrangements and ship arrangements, and rail vehicles
  • Cleansing arrangements for air and gas
  • Exhaust gas heat exchangers and steam generators for exhaust gas warmth in engines, turbines and fuel cells
  • Exhaust gas silencers and catalysts for internal combustion engines and gas turbines
  • Electric gas hit cerium for special applications

ETB can also issue the following licences in accordance with specialist staff:

  • TÜV DIN EN ISO 3834-3 (DIN EN 729-3)
  • TÜV TRB 200 / AD - leaflet HP0
  • TÜV suitability to the welding of rail vehicles DIN 6700-2

Diesel-particle filters for non-steady operating conditions

For non-steady state operation conditions, ETB suggests the EER-BR diesel-particle filter system with full-flow burner regeneration. Filtration takes place by means of several SiC monoliths elastically mounted in a special steel housing. The exhaust gas flow is heated up to the burning temperature of diesel soot, so the particulates react to harmless substances, water vapour and carbon dioxide.

With the ETB particle filter, type EER, existing particle limits will be met. Its other features include:

  • Extraction of soot particles, approximately 99%
  • Continuous running with fully automatic regeneration
  • Safe and economic regeneration by controlled fuel burner
  • Regeneration and operation without production of NO2
  • Adaptable to every diesel engine up to 4,000kW
  • Removable filter cartridges for easy maintenance
  • Replaces the exhaust silencer, approximately 32dB(A)
  • Logging system integrated (1GB)

Diesel-particle filters for continuous regeneration

With ETB’s EER-EL diesel-filter system, users can achieve continuous regeneration with low constant backpressure. Filtration takes place by means of several ceramic monoliths elastically mounted in a special steel housing. The partial exhaust gas streams are successively heated up to the burning temperature of diesel soot, so the particulates react to harmless substances, water vapour and carbon dioxide.

  • Extraction of soot particles, approximately 99%
  • Continuous running with fully automatic regeneration
  • Safe and economic regeneration by controlled electro heating
  • Adaptable to every diesel engine up to 2,000kW
  • Space-saving construction
  • Replaces the exhaust silencer

Diesel-particle filters to protect against dangerous substances

Diesel-engine exhaust gases are dangerous substances, which have been proved to cause cancer. With the ETB diesel-particle filter, type EWR, observance of the existing and the expected future particle limits is guaranteed. In addition, the ETB filter provides:

  • Extraction of soot particles, approximately 98%
  • Operating time of eight to ten hours
  • Simple, rapid filter change (quick-release couplings)
  • Shift working suitability (easy-change filters)
  • Electronically controlled filter generation within 30min to 75min
  • Regeneration of several filters one after another
  • Vertical or horizontal installation (swivel / portable)
  • Little space required, visibility not disturbed
  • Comprehensive optional extras available
  • Exhaust silencer replacement
  • Internal regeneration filter, type ECR

Exhaust-gas silencers for heterogeneous applications

ETB’s exhaust-gas silencers are built for heterogeneous applications and are available in four silencing ratings. The reduction of noise level is approximately 15dB(A), 25dB(A), 35dB(A) and 45dB(A). Silencers with greater efficiency are available on request.

ETB’s exhaust-gas silencers are made from carbon steel with an outer protective coat of paint. Special execution is available with corrosion resistant or heat resistant material.

ISO 9001-quality heat exchangers

Energietechnik develops and produces heat exchangers that meet the ISO 9001 quality standard. ETB offers competent engineering advice throughout the lifetime / installation.

ETB’s heat exchangers work by using the exhaust gas heat from internal combusting engines, turbines and fuel cell; using industrial waste heat; or working as a preheater and cooler for fluids containing solid matter.
