CTEC Georgia, a leading operations and maintenance provider, recently reached a safety record of 250,000 accident-free man hours for its Gardabani Power Station, Tbilisi, Georgia.
CTEC has been operating and maintaining the plant accident-free for four years. In that time CTEC Georgia has provided impeccable safety standards rising above cultural conceptions improving at each level.
CTEC congratulates all CTEC Georgia staff on this achievement. This milestone reflects CTEC's endeavours to comply with international industrial safety and environment standards alongside state of the art technology.

In 2005, CTEC secured a contract with JSC Energy Invest, a Georgian independent power provider, to deliver a complete engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) and operations and maintenance (O&M) package for its 110MW Gardabani Power Plant project.
In 2007, JSC Energy Invest extended CTEC's contract for a further five years of O&M. CTEC provides JSC with long term O&M services, including projected overhauls of the equipment, in conjunction with its local team. The contract is performance based to ensure the power plant meets its strict dispatch regime.
Under this arrangement JSC Energy Invest is able to fully realise the benefits of its investment and smoothly fulfil obligations under power purchase agreements with its clients.
