Frarendi Introduces the Global Power Generation Marketplace to a New Product and Way of Repairing the Eroded Trailing Edges on Gas Turbine Nozzles

Frarendi, Inc., an innovator in combustion service hardware, recently introduced to the global power generation industry a new product (the Frarendi trailing edge nozzle replacement coupon) and an alternative process for cutting out, removing and replacing eroded sections of gas turbine first-stage nozzles. The company recently relocated its headquarters from Maine to Indiana to deliver parts faster from a central location. Frarendi has also ramped up production capacity and built up an inventory of many standard turbine nozzle replacement trailing edge parts. Additionally, Davis has assembled an elite team of metallurgy and manufacturing experts to ensure quality control.
“The global marketplace has an appetite for this kind of product and Frarendi is ready to meet the demand,” said Kevin Davis, president of Frarendi. “We have the infrastructure, expertise and inventory in place to offer a viable repair alternative to welding or total part replacement. Our products and repair process were very well received at the Power Gen show because repair shops want a faster, more affordable solution. We took several orders and developed a list of interested repair shops from across the globe.”
