ROTOR AND STATOR VIBRATION SERVICES

With rotor and stator vibration services, we offer a series of complementary service products specifically designed for the solution of generator rotor problems. We make a diagnosis; find the root cause, offer an assessment, provide engineered solutions and subsequent repair.

SENSOCORE CHECKUP STATOR LAMINATION STACK TEST

The Sensocore checkup is a high induction loop test of stator lamination stacks.

The benefits of this service are:

• Test equipment is housed safely in one integrated package
• No risk of unacceptable system loads by limiting the switch-on current
• Compatible with all generators from 50 MVA to over 1,600 MVA
• Test takes place under realistic operating conditions in the yoke

SENSOCORE-INJECT® LAMINATION STACK HOT SPOT REPAIR

The Sensocore-Inject method involves the repair of lamination stack hot spots in deep layers, restoring inter-lamination insulation to its original form and avoiding the well-known disadvantages of conventional repair methods.

• Deep penetration of the injected insulation material into the lamination stack

HYDROGEN SEALING CONTOUR®

Our hydrogen sealing contour design involves machining the surface of the hydrogen sealing ring with a special contour which significantly improves the self-centering capability of the ring, ensuring proper sealing and reduced wear.

We use an "oil pocket" at each oil outlet with precisely and individually defined dimensions. The pressure required for self-centering can be safely established at these pockets for all operating conditions, including turning gear operation.

• No modification of seal ring holder required
