Stork Turbo Services B.V. is an independent service company offering a wide range of turbo machinery services, in-house and at site. Currently 60 employees are committed to meet the needs of Stork Turbo Services' customers for their gas and steam turbines, their turbo compressors and blowers and their boiler feed water pumps. Our activities include overhaul, repair and maintenance, field service engineering, machining and balancing, spare parts supply and manufacturing. Stork Turbo Services B.V. is a member of the STORK N.V. group, which in total employs approximately 12,250 people and has a turnover of approximately €1.8bn (2005). Our new purpose built service shop is capable of handling turbo machinery up to 100t. Balancing capabilities are at hand for equipment up to 100t and 4m in diameter. The shop is furthermore equipped with fixed lathes to machine all types of large rotors and fine mechanical parts. FIELD SERVICE: MOBILE BALANCING AND LIGHT MACHINING-UNITOur experienced operators are fully trained and certified to work both onshore and offshore. Our field services include, though are not limited to, removal / installation of equipment, complete overhaul of rotating equipment onshore and offshore, alignment, non-destructive testing, balancing and project management. Handling turbo machinery equipment at the customer's site reduces costs and limits downtime. To provide this service to the customers, Stork Turbo Services has a mobile balancing and light machining unit, which is able to handle equipment up to 100t and a diameter of 4m. REVERSE ENGINEERING FOR COMPONENTS To secure and to ensure customers that Stork Turbo Services is able to reverse engineer components when no drawing is available, a 3-D laser digitising system is available. Our engineers use this system for the renewal and manufacturing of parts. Where possible, alternatives to improve parts are offered. Our in-house fine mechanical workshop is capable of high precision machining. This capability is used for the production of spares and reverse engineered components. SPARE PARTS FOR TURBO MACHINERYA wide range of spare parts for turbo machinery can be supplied and manufactured on a fast delivery / cost efficient basis. Parts include, for example, rotor and stator blading, diaphragms, nozzle segments and labyrinths. QUALITY TURBO MACHINERY SERVICES Stork Turbo Services is a member of the Power Services Group of Stork. In projects we closely cooperate with our sister companies in the Power Services Group: Stork Turbo Blading (blade manufacturing and reverse engineering), Stork Thermeq (burner, aerator and boiler services) and Stork Gears and Services (gearbox refurbishment and manufacturing). Stork Turbo Services is fully qualified to work in compliance with the Dutch safety standard VCA**. The Safety Assurance System has been assessed and approved by Lloyd's Register. The working standards are also according to - and approved - by several customers. The quality plan is according to Stork Turbo Services standard, certified according to NEN-EN-ISO 9001 and approved by Lloyd's Register.
