SweOffshore provides first-class accommodation vessels and refined subsea inspection services to the offshore wind power industry.

We enable our clients to pay close attention to the structural condition of their vessels and offshore structures with our web-based Marine Inventory System (MIS). The system allows clients to make lifespan evaluations in view of periodical subsea maintenance and repair.

With bathymetric, 3D-scanning and ROV services and laser technology, to experienced hands-on subsea surveys with divers, we excel in providing our clients with cutting-edge equipment and expertise.

Specialist accommodation vessels for offshore wind power facilities

Long periods spent at offshore wind parks is common for assigned specialists. We provide personal transfer vessels that are compatible with boat landings in the rear / side of the accommodation vessel to ensure that communting between between the workplace and ‘home’ is safe and comfortable.

A vessel equipped for accommodation leaves harbour.
At SweOffshore, we have designed and produced custom-built boat landings in vessel sterns for easy and safe access to our crew boats.
An onshore inspection vehicle can be equipped with 3D sonar, multi-beam and side scan sonar and ROV.
A freeze frame from a 3D sonar video of a cable crossing a 300mm pipeline at a depth of 25m.
A still from a 3D sonar video of a normal quay structure, with a view of the bottom slope and the concrete piles.

Our seaworthy accommodation vessels are equipped to provide food of the highest quality. Skilled chefs serve exclusive breakfast buffets in the morning alongside an around-the-clock a la carte menu.

Office facilities and public spaces complete with wireless Internet access are also available, providing in-cabin entertainment for staff and invaluable communication services.

Because of the remote nature of our work, safety considerations are of paramount importance to our teams.

Supply and service vessels for special assignments

In line with our global services and experienced shipping department, we operate RoRo vessels for special assignments. Furthermore, we have developed state-of-the-art routines and logistic capacities to manage and operate trades within the PSV, multipurpose- and cargo vessel markets. Our scope of business services also includes providing and operating tugs, barges, sheer leg cranes and jack-up rigs for both onshore and offshore projects.

We also aim to provide four-point mooring and DP2 systems in the future.

Diving services and underwater operations

Our diving teams, consisting of experienced craftsmen, are equipped with top-of-the-range equipment. All underwater operations are monitored by diving supervisors with up to 25 years’ experience. Underwater operations also receive support from our subsea management and technical department.

NDT services, casting, blasting, welding and repair works of maritime structures for example ports, dams and offshore installations are part of our complete subsea service package.

World-class subsea inspections to prevent structural failure

With many years of experience in underwater inspection, we pride ourselves on our world-class services. State-of-the-art equipment, such as 3D-sonars and ROVs, in the hands of certified and experienced personnel ensures our clients value for money. Our engineering partners, employing more than 1,000 engineers, evaluate and give structural advice as a complement to the physical images and divers’ hands-on results. Inspection is rapidly adopted as the prime tool to prevent structural failures and loss of production.

For structure owners wishing to extend the lifespan of their maritime assets, our Marine Inventory System (MIS) provides the ideal solution.

With the MIS, clients receive exclusive access to our MIS database and all structures inspected by the system. Whether there is a damaged pipeline, a crack in a dam, deteriorated concrete or just preventive documentation, an MIS client will receive updates from:

  • Up-to-date drawings
  • 2D and 3D images and films
  • Diving inspection with video and photo-documentation
  • Each irregularity evaluated in respect of risk, cost and structural impact
  • Chloride content evaluation
  • Erosion risks
  • Bathymetric maps, side scan sonar, multi-beam echo sounder and 3D sonar, combined in one application
  • Environmental issues
