03 January 2008 12:00

Turbine Diagnostic Services Inc. is proud to announce it has reached an agreement to provide a TurboNet DASH 1 system to control a turbine formerly controlled by a GE Mark III. The steam turbine is a single auto extraction condensing machine. In addition, TDS will implement its Sequence of Events module for time stamping events with a millisecond accuracy. The system will also be integrated with digital generator protection relays and a new DECS-400 excitation system. The DECS-400 and pan chassis assembly will replace all the old analog controls used in the existing SCT-PPT excitation system. TDS will also supply a historian. The system is scheduled for delivery in June 2008.
