ENERGY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS

Basis of the energy management systems of Steag Ketek IT are the systems SR1 to SR5. With these applications, the essential technical and commercial relationships of power supply can be monitored, controlled and optimized.

SR1: TÜV-certified lifetime monitoring. Based on material creep and fatigue under alternating load as defined by the TRD boiler standards, the SR1 system computes the remaining life of power plant components which are subject to great stresses.

SR2: model-based optimization of total energy plants to cut variable operating costs in plant portfolios. The SR2 system optimizes the use of coupled energy plants making allowance for the plant parameters, power purchase agreements and customer demand profiles. Momentary and strategic analyses are performed simultaneously for different time horizons.

SR3: precise energy control as basis of energy and cost savings at the customer end.

The SR3 system reduces energy consumption and costs within industrial supply structures. The integrated functions permit plausible balances, the transparent description of quantities, outputs and costs broken down according to cost centres, as well as the specification of dynamic target figures and a comprehensive reporting system.

SR4: continuous optimizing of power plant operation to make use of savings potentials in the plant. The SR4 system analyzes and assesses the power plant process and indicates where economic losses are incurred. The results of component evaluation, operation optimizing and unit behaviour forecast enable the staff to optimally run the unit.

SR5: combinable system solutions for electricity trading. The SR5 system offers freely combinable modules for energy data management, management of balancing groups and load forecasting along with portfolio and risk management.

SRX CENTRAL DATA MANAGEMENT

The SRx system serves as central data archive and also furnishes the interfaces to the data sources and the single applications. SRx affords a variety of evaluation options, including:

SRV offers reliable data reconciliation in compliance with VDI 2048. The SRV module enables you to generate a reliable and consistent set of data from the operational measurements - an essential condition for the reliability of more in-depth analyses.

SRk: steam-water cycle balance. The SRk module serves to determine the effects of changed parameters on the process of thermal power plants by means of simulative calculation.

SRP statistic forecast: neuronal load forecasting with any input and output variables. The SRp module is freely configurable and permits the training and recall of neuronal networks. Inter-dependencies of any kind in the energy industry can be dependably forecasted with this tool.
