nFLEXION Consulting Services, LLC Introduces a Low Cost Replacement Kit for Legacy Genicom Printers Used with the Westinghouse WDPF Control System
The WPX-1 Westinghouse WDPF Printer Solution is a plug-and-play replacement for Genicom 3404, 3410XCQ, and 3850 impact printer that is based on the PCL3 parallel printer data protocol. The WPX-1 translator converts 9600-baud serial data from the WDPF control system to PCL3 parallel printer format data for use with off-the-shelf inkjet and laser printers.
The WPX-1 is user configurable for wide printing or screen images or compressed mode allowing 132 characters across a standard 81/2 X 11 sheet of paper. Message buffering is also configurable.
