Anvil International, one of the largest and most complete manufacturers of pipe fittings, pipe hangers and piping support systems in the world, announced the opening of a 15,000ft² distribution center in Odessa, Texas.

The new facility will stock all of Anvil International’s energy-related products, including forged steel and malleable iron fittings, seamless and continuous weld nipples, JB Smith™ swage nipples, bull plugs and oil country products, Catawissa™ unions, Gruvlok® fittings and valves, along with our Scotchkote™ and Corvel coated fittings. The new facility will replace an existing 10,000ft² building on the city’s west side.

Improved service to oil and gas industries

Odessa is known as the center of the oil and gas industry, and this new distribution center will play a major role in serving Anvil’s customers’ needs, and in supplying products that encourage industry growth throughout the Permian Basin.

According to Chad Carter, national energy marketing manager for Anvil, the larger building and improved location will enable Anvil to increase inventory volume.

"The Odessa / Midland area is home to many of our valuable distributors and their customers, and this facility was designed to specifically cater to their needs, with better access, quicker turnaround on shipments and will-call orders, and remarkable customer service overall," he said.

Located at 1100 West I-20, the new facility begins operation this month.
