Kato Engineering - AC Generators (Alternators), Motor-Generator Sets and Controls
Providing main or auxiliary power, Kato Engineering generators are in service on many US Navy ships as well as vessels owned by navies around the globe. Kato motor-generator sets will also power the US Navy's new Electro Magnetic Launch System (EMALS), a new method to launch carrier-based aircraft using a linear motor. EMALS is being developed for the Navy's new Gerald R. Ford class aircraft carriers.
