ABI makes insulators for all voltage ratings from the lower end of the spectrum up to 800kV system voltages. A brief representation of our product offering is as follows.

TRANSMISSION INSULATORS

Our wide of transmission insulators includes:

  • Suspension disc insulators up to 420kN mechanical strength, creepage distance up to 690mm and normal, antifog and open profile, up to 765kV voltage
  • Pin insulators up to 69kV Voltage, 10kN mechanical strength and creepage up to 1080 mm
  • Post insulators up to 245kV voltage (multi-units), 32kN mechanical strength and creepage up to 1050mm

SUBSTATION, TRACTION AND LINE POST INSULATORS

Our substation, traction and line-post insulators include:

  • Solid core station post insulators – up to 800kV
  • Long rod insulators – up to 800kV
  • Porcelain apparatus insulators for SF6 circuit breakers, instrument transformers, condenser bushings, lightening arresters, etc. – up to 800kV
  • Traction insulators for railway electrification – up to 25kV
  • Solid core line post insulators – up to 66kV
