Eta-Com - Insulated Busway Systems

The Eta-com Group was founded in 1979 and has subsequently marketed a full range of betobar-r cast-resin insulated busway systems. The unique concept of this system is designed in Belgium and registered in most industrial countries. The modern third-generation betobar-r provides many advantages which give electrical world solutions for increased power demands.

BETOBAR-R CAST-RESIN INSULATED BUSWAY SYSTEM

The betobar-r busway system has been developed for the safe and efficient transmission and distribution of electrical power in low and medium voltage installations. The busway consists of copper or aluminium conductors which are embedded in a vacuum mixed insulation of epoxy and filled with 'BIM mix'. This casting mix has extensive electrical specifications, high mechanical solidity and outstanding physical characteristics.

CUSTOMISED BUSWAY ELEMENT FORMS

The betobar-r busway system is resistant to water, and both highly flame-retardant and self-extinguishing. Due to a flexible production method in universal casting moulds with an integrated processed casting method, an extensive range of element forms can be manufactured for the standardised current ratings in low and medium voltage to suit particular project requirements.

BUSWAY WITH LOW AND MEDIUM-VOLTAGE RANGE

This busway system, with its outstanding characteristics and its very extensive range in low voltage and medium voltage, is particularly suitable for main connections, secondary feeder lines and rising mains in tower buildings, public service and utility buildings, hospitals, paper or cement mills, and industrial installations, chemical and petrochemical plants, and power stations.

The junctions are overcast with the 'BIM mix' overlapping element ends in order to obtain a homogenous insulation over the entire length of the busway, ensuring high reliability. All MV elements are supplied with a works test report; copies of official certificates and works reports can be sent on request for LV elements.
