Fast and Efficient Cable Repair

Using the LoviSil® K repair module, damage to medium-voltage cables can now be rapidly and simply repaired.
This product was recently developed in response to requests from the market. The module consists of a single unit: an extended tube set, that is placed inside the inner joint in the LoviSil® K 95. Following removal of the damaged section of cable, it can be replaced with a separate core fixed in place on both sides using for example a bolted connector.
Special Extended Connectors
Another option is to make use of special extended connectors available specifically for this purpose. The repair module is suitable for all cable types up to a cross section of 300 mm˛, for both 10kV and 20kV applications.
