LoviSilŪ K Cable Joint Suitable for 33kV

The advantages of the LoviSilŪ K cable joints can now also be used for 33kV voltage levels. A single-core version is already available. A joint for three-core cables will soon also be launched. The new 33kV version was developed in response to an enquiry from a major British power company.
The most important difference compared to existing versions is the interior composition. In the new version, the tube set has been replaced by stress grading elements made of semi-conductive silicone. The LoviSilŪ K 33kV cable joint complies with European standards for medium voltage cable joints.
