Renewable Energy Courses Added to GPiLearn

19 March 2008 14:03

Global performance improvement solutions provider General Physics Corporation, a subsidiary of GP Strategies Corporation, announced the addition of Web-Based Training (WBT) programs to their on-line portal, GPiLearn™, covering topics specifically intended for Hydroelectric Plants, Wind Farm Technologies, Nalco Water Treatment, and Waste-to-Energy Plants. GP has partnered with several clients to develop these training programs.

John Batchelder from Minnesota Power stated: "It's almost endless, how we can reconfigure GPiLearn to meet the needs of our employees. Developing renewable energy content with GP has benefited all parties involved. GP can offer more training courses to their clients, and co-funding utilities receive the training they want for their employees at a reduced cost."

With the addition of the new training programs, GP's library of online courses includes over 1,600 topics targeted toward the power plant industry. GP's comprehensive online training portal, GPiLearn, allows users to access the training programs 24/7 while supervisors track their progress. "Hands-on" qualifications, power point presentation, PDF files, operating procedures, and 3rd party web-based training content can also be hosted on GPiLearn for no added cost.
