Global performance improvement solutions provider General Physics Corporation (GP), a subsidiary of GP Strategies Corporation (NYSE: GPX), has announced that Bersin & Associates named GP as a 2010 Learning Leader in the Vendor Innovation in Learning and Talent Management category.
The Learning Leaders program recognizes organizations that have developed and implemented effective, efficient approaches to employee learning and talent management, resulting in significant business improvement. Ten providers of training and talent management solutions and services received this honor.
"Delivering sales channel training to a large global audience — with diverse skills, languages and cultures — is highly complex," said Chris Howard, vice-president of research, Bersin & Associates. "We were impressed with Via Training’s ability to deliver large scale, flexible training using an effective combination of modalities from face-to-face training and virtual classrooms to social networking and podcasts."
"GP is proud to be selected as one of the 2010 Learning Leaders. Our Via Training division continues to design and develop exceptional custom training programs that increase sales channel effectiveness for our customers," says Don Duquette, executive vice-president for GP.
In 2009, GP also received other distinguished learning awards from The Black Book of Outsourcing 2009 (Top Overall Training and Learning Business Process Outsourcing Vendors), Chief Learning Officer magazine Learning in Practice awards (Gold Excellence in Social Networks and Bronze Excellence in Customer Service); and Training Industry (Top 20 Companies in Training Outsourcing).
