Against Japanese competition RDE gained the contract for the production and supply of an engineering and testing simulator for the power plant Tarong in Queensland, Australia.
For the first time the simulator will be applied for the validation of the new control technology and not only for crew training. Thus the RDE simulator system is an important tool for quality assurance regarding modernisation programmes at the power plant. The simulator will be developed in Germany and integrated together with a control system from Siemens.
