Baltec Inlet & Exhaust Systems (Baltec IES) was formed in Australia in 1987, with the goal of providing the power-generation industry with quality gas turbine inlet, exhaust and cooling systems.

FILTER HOUSE AND EXHAUST SYSTEMS PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Projects undertaken are meticulously managed from start to finish, from R&D, design and drafting, through to manufacturing, delivery, site erection and commissioning. Baltec IES has designed and manufactured inlet systems, also known as filter houses, and exhaust systems for machines ranging in size from GT10 (23MW) to V94.2 (156MW), some of these complete with cooling systems.

All projects awarded to Baltec IES are undertaken under a quality assurance system complying with ISO 9001:2000.

The product range offered by Baltec IES includes, but is not limited to: filter houses (static and pulse type), dampers (diverter dampers, louver dampers and guillotine dampers), exhaust stacks, silencers, support structures, expansion joints, cooling systems (fogging, evaporative and chiller type) and general ductwork.

POWER PLANT APPLICATIONS FOR EXHAUST SYSTEMS

The primary application of these products is on gas turbine power plants. However, Baltec IES also offers services to tailor all of the above mentioned products for use in alternative applications, such as for use in coal-fired power stations.
