The MFS Group, VCA** certified, is a small independent company located in the Netherlands which provides a complete parts-support service for commercial aero-derivative gas turbine engines and packages. Our sales and field service team has experience of working with a large range of engines including, but not limited to, the widely used GE aero-derivative LM series gas turbines:

MFS serves the worldwide gas turbine market and supports all end-users, including offshore platform installations, power generation plants and commercial marine propulsion (ferries). With our inexpensive labour rates and parts sourcing ability, MFS offers a significant reduction in overhaul costs in comparison to OEM rates.

Gas turbines field service

MFS offer full expert field service support domestically and worldwide. Our service department is a highly qualified team. They have mastered all levels for maintenance on GE aero-derivative LM series gas turbines: LM1600, LM2500, LM2500+, LM5000 and LM6000, Pratt & Whitney gas turbines and GE 3, 5, 6, 7 and 9 frame engines.

The services performed by our turbine technicians include inspection and fault-finding, repair, servicing and preventative maintenance, installations and overhauls.

The main benefits of this service are to reduce downtime due to major repairs, prolong overall life of the engine and generally provide a more cost-efficient method of managing engine usage. Our service technicians are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to ensure an immediate response to your needs.

Aero-derivative gas turbine spare parts

A wide range of spare parts for gas turbines and package operating spares can be supplied. We offer all aero-derivative gas turbine operators an alternative source for parts that were previously only available through the OEM. Spare parts include a range in GE LM1600, LM2500, LM2500+, LM5000 and LM6000. Products include thermocouples T5.4 / T4.8, harnesses, accelerometers, hydraulic starters, clutches and actuators.

Aero-derivative gas turbine component repair

We offer component repair, by approved repair facilities, for example disassembly, assembly and balancing of HPT module (stator and rotor), silver plate replacement and repair of vespel insert bearing inner nut. We also implement the cleaning, flow check and refurbishment of fuel nozzles.

Operators prefer the inconvenience of our rotable exchanges because it minimises down time. We can utilise this approach when the respective parts and assemblies for exchange are repairable. We also offer GE engine tooling and service hand tools cases.
