ULTRA-LOW NOX COMBUSTION SYSTEMS

PSM produces advanced ultra-low NOx combustion systems with the lowest emissions available from any source for the Frames 7E and 9E-class machines and the 501D5. Today, we are taking these achievements even further - working to reduce emissions to the 2ppm level and to eliminate the need for back-end exhaust clean-up systems. Success with this technology is being expanded to F-class machines.

AIRFOILS

PSM has had access to over 100 industrial gas turbines - and thousands of airfoils. This unique hands-on contact has allowed our engineers to systematically characterize and examine new, engine-run, repaired and failed airfoils. PSM engineers combine this knowledge with their experience in land-based combustion turbines, electrical generation, and military and aerospace technology to create some of the industry's most advanced airfoils.

GAS TURBINE FUEL SYSTEMS

PSM provides a wide range of design and engineering services aimed at minimizing downtime and maximizing gas turbine output. Our principal focus is the overhaul and calibration of gas turbine fuel systems.

Gas turbine fuel systems are complex and must be carefully calibrated and individually tuned. The more precise the calibration, the lower emissions and the less wear and tear on critical turbine components.

FUEL NOZZLE OVERHAUL

PSM fuel nozzle overhaul team is staffed with highly qualified technicians who have gained their experience from previous work at other manufacturers' shops and through additional PSM specific training.

We inspect, flow and refurbish fuel nozzles for all major models of industrial gas turbines. PSM's flow tolerances are consistently half the flow tolerances found in the industry for nozzle-to-nozzle flow variation. That means reduced temperature spreads, fewer hot spots in the combustion system, and a reduction in combustion dynamics for less wear on your equipment.

PSM designs and manufactures advanced components for GE Frames 7E and 9E, plus the Siemens Westinghouse (SW) state-of-the-art 501F-Class machines.
