Gaskets and seals

AG supplies a range of standard and customised gaskets used in power stations and transformers. These include high temperature graphite gaskets for temperature and pressure, rubber gaskets for valves and pipelines, metallic gaskets for compressors, etc., rubberised cork gaskets, and strips and sheets for use with transformer oils.

Self-fusing silicone tapes

Fibreglass sleevings

AG carries an extensive range of fibreglass sleevings, some incorporating a coating of resin or elastomer for insulation of wire and cable from heat and electrical transfer. Diameters range from as small as 0.5mm through to around 150mm.

Thermal insulation

AG has a broad range of high temperature insulation products, including fibreglass, silica (Refrasil) and ceramic cloths, tapes, ropes and batts, as well as rigid and flexible boards and sheets. These can be supplied as a stocked product or fabricated to form insulation jackets or expansion joints to your requirements.

AG is also able to manufacture welding blankets and curtains for the protection of personnel or equipment during welding or grinding procedures.

Shims

At AG, precision shims can be made from plastics (colour coded if preferred) or various metals, including mild steel, brass, copper or stainless steel. They can be supplied either as an individual part or as a set for applications where an exacting assembly is required.
