CCI - Velocity Control Valves and Silencers

CCI has been the undisputed leader in the design, development and manufacture of velocity control valves for severe service applications since it patented the first DRAG® valve in 1967. Since then, CCI has built and shipped thousands of velocity control valves to customers in a wide range of industries worldwide, including fossil and nuclear power generation, oil and gas production and refining, and chemical/petrochemical production and processing.

In 2003, CCI further broadened its reach by acquiring Fluid Kinetics. CCI FK is a premier supplier of customized industrial silencers to the power, oil and gas, and industrial gases markets.

DRAG® DISK STACK TRIM

The technologically advanced design of the DRAG® disk stack trim controls flow velocities through the valve trim by forcing the process fluid to follow a tortuous path of right angle turns. By combining the unique capability to easily vary the number of turns in each disk passage, the number of passages in each disk, and the number of disks in each stack, CCI is unequaled in the industry.

REPLACEMENT PARTS

When it comes to replacement parts, our standards are just as high. Everything is made from the right materials, to the right dimensional specs, by qualified machinists – with N-stamp qualification when needed. Because many CCI DRAG® and CCI-Bailey valves are custom-designed and built, the original drawings, specifications, and equipment are available to make the right replacement part for your valve. And all our spares meet the original industry standards for which the valves were designed - APL, ANSI or ASME.

CCI DRAWS ON EXPERIENCE

Our experienced field technicians have the tools and information about the valves we have built, so when your conditions demand we can completely rebuild and recalibrate a control valve. We'll even help sort out your spares inventory. We also have factory-trained specialists that can handle full disassembly and cleaning, welding, overlay and modification or fabrication of needed parts, part matching for tight sealing, reassembly, leak testing, painting and return shipment – and this applies to the smallest cage trim valve or the biggest DRAG® severe service valve.

CCI FK (Fluid Kinetics) is the foremost supplier of customized silencers to the U.S. market. CCI FK custom designs each silencer for its exact service application. Our highly qualified engineers predict the required noise reduction, and then test and optimize multiple silencer configurations to arrive at the most effective design.
