Hora is one of Germany's leading manufacturers of control valves and actuators for power and building automation. Since 1967 we have concentrated on one business: designing, manufacturing and marketing of advanced technology control valves and actuators.

Because of the consequent follow up of our two business segments, building and automation and power technology, we serve the customers' need of both markets very specifically. In our building and automation division we develop and produce valves and actuators for HVAC applications and the process automation. The business unit power technology is specialised in severe service control valves for power plant technology.

All activities take place at one location in Schloss Holte-Stukenbrock and are world-wide supported by authorised sales partners.

Hora is a true family business, with continuity and stability. Georg Dresselhaus (1928-1995) founded the company in 1967. For 36 years the profit has been reinvested. The equity capital quota is higher than 40%. That's a reliable financial basis and the basis for growth as well as a high investment rate.

PNEUMATIC ACTUATORS 

Holter pneumatic actuators are reversible with an optional handwheel. They may be installed in any orientation. All our pneumatic actuator designs are proofed and come with a safety function (also in accordance to TRD 421). Other benefits include easy maintenance and cost effectiveness.

HYDRAULIC ACTUATORS 

Applications of our hydraulic actuators include:

Holter hydraulic actuators can be installed in any orientation, have short stroke times and come with an integrated safety function (also in acc. to TRD 421).

ELECTRIC ACTUATORS

We have all actuator sizes and forces available and products from all suppliers are adaptable. They can also be installed in any orientation, are easy to maintain and have a high temperature yoke.

AFTER SALES SERVICE

For more than 35 years now, Holter has been available locally to provide all the work and services that occur in inspection, maintenance and repair.

Holter's on-the-spot service helps without delay. Teams of experts with all special machinery and equipment and close cooperation with the other areas of our service range give you the security you need and ensure that standstill times are kept to a minimum.
