Hoogenboom is specialised in the engineering and manufacturing of industrial butterfly or damper valves and louvrer dampers, for any kind of gas / air regulation, distribution and isolation.

We have been providing dampers for more than 25 years. Our valves are reliable, require little or no maintenance and have a very long lifecycle. We are dedicated to designing our valves and dampers to meet specific customer requirements.

Dampers and valves for the power industry

Hoogenboom’s dampers and valves are used in a wide range of power industry applications, including cogeneration (biogas energy systems and waste heat recovery), hot air industrial ventilation (steel mills, aluminum mills, chemical plants and food / drying) and cold air (regulating inlet air for burners / heaters).

Hoogenboom manufactures dampers in sizes from 90mm to 2,500mm with the following options:

Circular single-bladed butterfly valves

Hoogenboom offers a wide range of circular single-bladed butterfly valves with cast aluminium, welded-steel or tube-shaped PVC housing. Our product offering is as follows:

• Series 22 circular single-bladed butterfly valve with cast aluminium housing
• Series 26 circular single-bladed butterfly valve with welded-steel housing
• Series 28 circular single-bladed butterfly valve with welded-steel housing
• Series 31 circular single-bladed butterfly valve with welded-steel flange housing
• Series 42 circular single-bladed butterfly valve with tube-shaped PVC housing (greenhouse-CO2)

Rectangular butterfly damper valves

• Series 52 rectangular single-bladed butterfly valve with welded-steel housing
• Series 57 rectangular multi-bladed butterfly valve with welded-steel housing

Cubical mixing valves

Hoogenboom offers two series of cubical mixing valves: the series 45 cubical single-bladed mixing valve with plate-steel housing and the series 46 cubical double-blade mixing valve with plate-steel housing. Both valves are environmentally friendly.

Dampers and valves for heat recovery systems and cogeneration plants

The Hoogenboom Series 37 T-valve or three-way damper (one inlet and two outlets) has been specifically designed for heat recovery systems and cogeneration plants. Outlets can be switched to distribute combustion gases at high temperature.

The Series 39 airlock valve is a double-blade damper valve that provides reliable and durable 100% tightness shutoff for low-pressure combustion gases at high temperatures. This type of valve is used to bypass condensors in chimneys, with typical uses including waste heat recovery systems and cogeneration plants.
