The REXA design can be applied to a wide range of thrust, stroke, torque or rotations. As a result, our actuators and drives are the most comprehensive available, serving any industry requiring rugged, reliable, repeatable control.

CONVENTIONAL ACTUATOR LIMITATIONS

Modern control systems are capable of impressive resolution in the measurement and control of the process. Unfortunately, most actuation employed in the plant is incapable of matching the systems capability. The inherent compressibility of pneumatics results in stiction and over-shoot. This can be reduced with digital positioners, but not eliminated. Electro-mechanical actuators do not offer the failsafe options required in many applications. In addition performance degrades as gear trains wear.

ELECTRAULIC™ ACTUATION

The self-contained design of Electraulic™ actuation eliminates the mess, maintenance and expensive installation costs associated with 'conventional' hydraulic actuators. The use of non-compressible media provides the ability to instantly react to a change in control signal, regardless of friction or load. There is no gear train to wear and all moving parts are bathed in oil ensuring long service life. Optional spring and accumulators systems are available to provide failsafe positioning across the product line.

CRITICAL CONTROL APPLICATIONS DEMAND XPAC PERFORMANCE

Designed for critical control applications, the XPAC is rated for 100% duty cycle. The actuators performance can be adjusted for each application's specific needs through the user-friendly microprocessor based controls. The control enclosure can be remote mounted away from inhospitable environments resulting in lower maintenance and longer life. Our patented flow-matching valve hydraulically locks the linear or rotary cylinder in place eliminating instability due to varying loads in valves experiencing flashing and cavitation.

The modular design of REXA Electraulic™ actuation allows for various combinations and options to meet most any application requirement. Our standard line consists of:

L Series - linear actuator:

R Series - rotary actuator:

• Torque up to 400,000lb-in
• Rotation up to 90°

D Series - drive:
