Pressure Relief Valves

20 September 2012 by CELECTRA

Pressure relief valves are devices employed to offer protection against sudden pressure overloads in tanks, reservoir machines and power transformers.

Repeatability, precision and quick action are the main features that ensure the integrity of the protected equipment. They have a signalling pin and electrical contacts, if ordered, that must be repositioned manually after valve activation and automatic return.

Due to their design, their active part, which is a combustion of spring, axle and gaskets, is immersed and protected in the equipment's oil, which in turn offers long lasting durability of its components.
