30 April 2007 09:52

Edison SpA, alongside two local partners, will build a 400MW gas-fired power plant at Thisvi, Greece, the company has announced.

Edison will hold 65% of the company that will build the plant while local energy groups Hellenic Energy & Development and Viohalco will own the rest.

The project has received regulatory approval from the Greek authorities and a final decision on the investment will be taken by the boards of the companies involved in the next few days, Edison said.
