Hitachi to Develop Three European Power Plants25 May 2007 12:24 The Nikkei has reported that a ¥300bn contract for three large coal-fired power plants from major European utility Electrabel SA has been won by Hitachi Ltd. One plant will be constructed at a new Electrabel facility in Rotterdam, Netherlands, and the other two in Germany, the financial daily said. Each will have capacity of 800,000kW.
