Oz Biofuel Production to Double

Production of biofuels will double over the next year in Australia according to a new report.

Industry consultant APAC Biofuel says more than 1,000 megalitres a year of biofuel will be made in Australia by the middle of 2009.

The report has been presented to the Advanced Global Biofuel Summit in Bangkok today with one of its authors saying growth is expected despite drought conditions, say Australia's ABC.
